Hi, I’m Raj!
Cognitive scientist.
I’m a fifth-year PhD student in the Cognitive Neuroscience & Machine Learning lab at Johns Hopkins University, advised by Dr Michael Bonner. Learn more about my research here!
Massive nerd.
Our universe is awesome, and I want to understand everything in it! My more proximate goal is to learn more mathematical tools for interpreting and developing complex, intelligent systems.
Huge geek.
I love speculative fiction – fantasy & sci-fi – with complex characters and rich worldbuilding. Recently, I’ve enjoyed Tigana and the Red Rising Saga. I’m also currently part of an amazing D&D campaign!
Free culture advocate.
Humanity thrives when knowledge is freely available. I support open science, free software and the gradual abolition of intellectual property rights. Strengthen our commons by contributing your works!
This website is a work-in-progress and as a result, most pages on this domain are empty. For the curious: this site isn’t created using one of the many amazing static site generators; instead, out of sheer stubbornness and technological curiosity (read: masochism), I write content in Pandoc-flavored markdown and style the generated HTML using custom Sass-based CSS. Web design is fun.
