Hi, I’m Raj!
Cognitive neuroscientist.
I’m a postdoctoral researcher advised by Marlene Behrmann at the University of Pittsburgh, currently investigating feedback processing in the human visual cortex using intracranial EEG.
Check out my research page to learn more about my scientific interests, academic trajectory, and technical expertise!
Free-culture optimist.
As a proponent of the free-culture movement, I publish open science, contribute to free software, and make all my creative outputs freely available to strengthen our commons.
Check out my blog to read the content I’ve created—including a collection of cryptic scientific poetry puzzles and an overly detailed list of stuff I use!
Eclectic hobbyist.
I enjoy reading fiction, watching movies, TV shows, and stand-up comedy, listening to music, and playing video games, tabletop RPGs, and board games with friends. Lest you scoff at these generic hobbies, let me reassure you that I also indulge in such sophisticated outdoor pastimes as jogging, hiking, and bouldering. I also love tinkering with technology—self-hosting services on my homelab, building mechanical keyboards, and even creating this website…

This site is still under construction…
This website is—as many personal sites perpetually are—currently under construction. Many of the pages linked here are aspirational, in that I hope to eventually shepherd them into existence from the Platonic realm in which they currently reside. I tender unto you, dear reader, my sincere apologies for any disappointment this profound emptiness may cause.
Check back in after a while—perhaps things will be more fleshed out then!
